Aloha...!!

It's been a while since my last post. Reason? Busy + Lazy!! What else? Anyway, since i have my hands on the net today and nothing much to do, lemme update a bit on what going on with my life these days.

I just had my convocation last month. Finally after 3 years of classes, I'm free (in a way). But it doesn't really matter coz life as a student was fun for me. Learned a lot back then that you can never really trust anybody. The survival instinct is much more powerful than love, friendship or any relationship there is. Can we be blamed for wanting to survive? I think so, IF our survival means someone else's death (figuratively speaking). It's called sacrifice. But such word don't really have a meaning these days. Right? Yes, I admit. I am the silly naive little (literally) guy...



I think most of you already know that I've already started working for almost 4 month now. Alhamdulillah... Though many doubted that I'll be getting any job after my studies, I started working 3 month before I graduated. Take that!!
Anyway, it's an event company that goes by the name Event Plus Sdn. Bhd. It's been operating since 2006 (quite new) doing events mostly for Digi. Yes, the telecomunication company. They did mostly promotion and roadshow and also big events such as Fuyo-RAP and Digi Celebriteen.
I started in the company as an event co-ordinator but after 2 month promoted to Talent Manager of the Digi Celebriteen. So my job is to take care of the 5 finalist from the Digi Celebriteen 2007.
I still have a lot to learn. But the truth is, I'm happy to be here. And I'm planning to stay for quite a while.

I've also moved to a new place. Nearer to the office. Reason: I'm not doing anymore job for my theatre club, so it won't be nice to stay at the clubhouse. Not that I don't want to but most of the time I got my hands full. Sorry guys. I know some of you misunderstood or just lack the ability of understanding or maybe something else. Whatever... I'm earning my life. Yes it's been hard and it's going to get harder but it satisfies me to know that I'm paying for my own rental, buying my own food, paying for my own bills etc...
Anyway, I'm staying with 2 friends. Uni whose been in college with me for 3 years, and her bf Boy. We've just moved in for about a week so not much has been done to the house yet. But we're working on it.

A few days ago, a friend from Kluang came to KL. we went out that night. It was so cool to meet her after 5 years! It's almost unbelievable! Anyway, we went around KL, talking about stuff and ends our jurney at the Kota Damansara 24 hours KFC. Haha... Then I sent her back to her friend's home and then I went back to my crib.

Thank GOD!! After all, I got to have fun. Real fun! Sunday, 11th February 2007, 8.30 am, 4 cars move out from Puncak Perdana heading to Air Terjun Sungai Gabai in Semenyih, Selangor. Took us about an hour to get there.

Amer drived Faliq, Jaq and Fasyali in his car, Mira drived Zaidi, Ajun, Naz and I in her car, Lan drived Azhar, Budi, Adi (Budi's brother) and Dek Yan in Budi's car, and Baby drived Mali, Jaja, Lala and Ciput in her car. So there were 19 of us.
We had Nasi Lemak as breakfast as soon as we arrived, and then straight into the water.
Hahaha. Our activities that day besides playing in the water included mummifying our friends, blowing out candies from a plate full of flour and eating hanged bananas using only your our mouths.
It was fun. Thank you to Amer who put an effort to make this picnic possible.

All of us are studying in the Faculty of Artistic and Creative Technology. This picture were taken during the Kalut Restage photoshoot. (Explains the black and white...) We're all housemates. Here's a a little introduction, sorted by age.

ABG DAT
The eldest among us. Hehehe. 27 this year. From Jitra Kedah. Studying in Diploma in Acting in the same faculty I'm in. Same intake, Nov 2004. Currently in part 5.

SYALI
24 years old. From Kota Tinggi, Johor. Same class as Abg Dat. Kindda skinny.... nop, really skinny actually. Not drugs, just a surgery he had. And ever since, he has been trying to gain weight in vein.

ME
23 years old. From Kangar, Perlis. Taking Diploma in Screen Arts. The saddest among the seven. Still trying to find myself i think...

LAN
My bro. 22 years old. From Kuching, Sarawak. Same class as me. Doesn't even look Malay actually. But a lot better than some Malay looking Malay. Seriously...

AZHAR
An acting student. 22 years old from Segamat, Johor. Already in Part 8. Super duper senior. Hehehe. Just moved in but he fits in well.


ZAIDI
Also an acting student. Same age as Azhar and Lan. From JB, Johor. Part 8 like Azhar. Moved in with Azhar and it's been really fun bro!!

MALI
A theater management student. Same intake as me, Abg Dat, Lan and Syali. The youngest though. 21 years old from Alor Setar, Kedah. Known Abg Dat even before studying here.

DAMNN!!!

It's been a while since my last post. No other reason, just LAYYYYZEEE....!!! It's the 4th week of my 5th semester and I'm still @#&%#&*. I got a lotta things at hand but I'm feeling down now. GRHHH....!!! What's happening to me? I just hate this feeling of being lonely. There's a lotta people around me but none of them is real. Everybody's so... PLASTIC including me. Everyday I went to class with no make up but still i manage a terrific fake smile. S**t!

Some people say it's ok to be selfish sometimes. If you want something so badly, screw friends! F**k brotherhood! Who cares? As long as you get what you want. But what's the meaning of success if you have no one to share it with? You'll just end up being something I hate most, a LONELY SON OF A B**CH! OK maybe you won't be lonely but you'll be left with your own kind. The kind of people who'll stab you in the back the first chance they get.

I still believe that the only way to a a real success is together. Where not everybody's a winner but everybody's happy. Is it possible or am I a total dreaming fool? Even some so called professionals are saying that money's more important than anything. But I still can't make up my mind. It's hard to give up my love for family, friends and arts for something so HAZARDOUS as MONEY!! And I don't think it's ok to hurt or use someone for your own happiness. So you hurt someone to feel good. To anybody's who's been living this kindda life, F**K YOU!! No matter how successful you become, you're still no taller than my ankle to me. I'll always look down on you. You don't deserve this life you're given. Drop dead!! But that's just me...

REAL S**T REALLY STINKS!!!

BIZZZZZZZZZZY...!!!

It's been a while. But I'm still busy with a theatre competition. I'm in the set department. So everyday from morning till night, I'll be at the workshop. There's not much let to be done but I've gotten very tanned along the way. All the actors are busy with practise at the studio. Everybody's very busy at the studio, at the workshop or going out to get stuff. We'll be doing an adaptation from Roy Coonie's "Run for Your Wife" - KALUT(Malay adaptation). It's a comedy. Those who are interested, you are all welcomed to see the show.

Our show will be on the 21st afternoon.

EXTREME DAY!!

Last Friday, I after staying up all night, I went to Bukit Kiara Extreme Centre to watch a wall climbing competition. I'm not a big fan because I'm not a really competitive kind of person when it comes to sports. Really. I prefer more relaxing activities such as camping, hiking and kayaking. Anyway, I went there because a friend from my hometown was there competing and I was there to give her some support.
I can't really say how I started the day since I never ended the previous day. So let's just say I started driving out of the college around 7.30am. And I arrived at Bukit Kiara around 8.30am. It's kind of surprising that I managed to get there so quick considering it's my first time driving there and I relied entirely on signboards. (lucky brat!!)
My friend arrived at the Centre around 9.30am and the competition started around 11.00am. (damn!!) It started so late that I only get to see the women's first qualifying round. Then I had to go back at 12.00 noon. But it's OK since I get to see my friend. I got home around 1.00pm and I went straight to bed. I was so tired that woke up around 10.00pm. I was planning to post this that very day but...
